    1. It’s suppose to be $5k for doge rebate, and $2k for tariff rebate. Still nothing. But my taxes and monthly expenses went up so there’s that.

“I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today”, J. Wellington Wimpy would say. Perpetually hungry, perpetually promising payments that would never come. Once he used a fishing pole to lasso a cow, presumably to put it on a bun and eat it whole.

If the fed collected ~ $195 billion USD in tariff-related revenue in 2025, and those tariffs were at the expense of US consumers who were already grappling with heavy inflation-related stresses, then dangling relief in those consumers faces, relief that will never come, seems evil – not just wrong, or malicious, but actual evil.

The promised DOGE dividend was never sent, the medicare drug card was never sent, the tariff dividend was never sent and seems to be getting reframed as “tax cuts” that will disproportionately benefit a segment of the populace. The “Warrior Dividend” is either delayed or incomplete depending on what you’re reading.

    3. >She noted that the Treasury secretary had suggested the money would go to households earning under $100,000

Honestly, I’ll be pretty pissed if my family doesn’t get a dollar back just because we make over 100k. Daycare alone is over 12k a year for a single kid.

The median household income is about 84k. Making 100k puts you in the 57th percentile. So 43% of this country would get nothing.

I’m paying roughly $80 a month more in electricity from a year ago, $45 a month more in auto insurance, $25 a month more in homeowner’s insurance, $425 a month more on childcare, and ~$170 a month more on the total of all groceries. Oh, and my health insurance premium will go up $120 a month next year!

Buuuuutttttt! It would’ve been ~$175 a month more on groceries if not for the fact that the price of eggs has dropped. So I’ve got that going for me. Woohoo!

    5. It’s amazing the things the executive branch can just do without congress these days! Tear down the entire East Wing? No problem. Murdering fisherman in their boats? Ah, go for it.

      Except this.

No, no this absolutely has to go through Congress. Sorry everyone!

    6. Hey, what do you want him to do? It’s Congress’s fault. Ask Mike Johnson. Oh wait, Mike Johnson doesn’t know anything about this, you would have to ask Trump. I swear we are governed by mom and pop type syndrome. These fucking idiots.

    7. Then

“Biden did too much government stimulus and spiked inflation”

      Also them

“Here’s a $7000 stimulus check to help pay for the inflation we caused with the tariffs”
