my student loans, currently held by mohela, went into repayment last month. i made the payment on time, but this month i noticed i didn't get a payment reminder like i usually so i logged into mohela to check what was going on and it shows my loans as having been paid, which i know they're not. i did not have any correspondence with mohela in my email notifying me of a servicer change and my mohela inbox has been wiped. i logged into fafsa to check if there was service change and it still says my loans are serviced by mohela. the payment is due on the dec 24th but i couldn't pay through mohela if i wanted to. i will call tomorrow but does anyone understand what could be happening? i really can't afford to get penalized for a late payment right now.
where did my student loans go?

Usually servicer change or recent consolidation would be the causes for what you are seeing. Less likely a rich relative paid the loans in full (but fingers crossed!). You said you logged into FAFSA – do you mean studentaid.gov by that? If not, start there, but otherwise you can call MOHELA in the morning to see what’s up.
