Hi everyone, (before I get any comments about TSP, yes I use it. I contribute 5% to get the matching, and then do my own investing in trad brokerages so I can have accessible funds and better options)

I’m currently caught between M1 Finance and Robinhood, and the friction of managing both is getting exhausting. I’m looking for a "Goldilocks" platform that merges the best of both worlds so I can stop tracking everything on a manual spreadsheet.

    The Problem:

    • M1 Finance is great for organization, but I hate the "Trading Windows." More importantly, I dislike how their auto-invest forces money into underweight slices. If my high-conviction plays are performing well, M1 actually stops buying them to catch up on laggards. I want my recurring buys to stay fixed to my target percentages regardless of price action.
    • Robinhood has a top-tier UI and lets me trade instantly with limit orders, but it’s tedious to manage a "custom index." Setting 20 individual recurring buys for a basket of stocks is a nightmare to manage and rebalance.

    My Wishlist:

    1. Custom Baskets/Pies: The ability to group stocks into a "folder" or "index" that I can "one-click" DCA into on a recurring basis (recurring deposits).
    2. Fixed-Ratio DCA: If I set a stock to 10% of a basket, I want 10% of every deposit to go there—don't "smart-invest" it into other things just because that stock grew.
    3. Real-Time Execution: No "trading windows." If I want to buy or sell, it happens now.
    4. Modern UI/UX: Something snappy and mobile-first.

Has anyone found a platform that hits these marks? I've heard mentions of Public’s Investment Plans or Fidelity’s Basket Portfolios, but I’m curious if they actually solve the "fixed-ratio" vs "dynamic rebalancing" issue. Would love to hear your experiences or any "outside the box" setups you use to stay organized!

Is there a brokerage that offers M1-style "Pies" but with Robinhood’s control and UI?
