I use the Coppervision Avaria Vitality bi-weekly contacts if that helps. I tried a sample of monthly contacts but i definitely want to keep my original brand due to their UV blocking that helps with my pair concussion syndrome. I DO have an updated prescription and I want to order from somewhere reliable so I don’t sacrifice my eye health! My eye doctor wanted around $420 for a 1 year supply and I wanted to see if I could find somewhere cheaper. 1800 contacts was still running me around $355. I don’t have eye insurance but I do have health insurance. I am willing to pay if i have to but want to look at other safe options first!

where is the best place to buy lower priced contacts?

    1. In my personal experience, cheap contacts are NOT worth it. I tried this once and saved like $200 initially. I couldn’t stand the cheap contacts for the life of me and had to buy the expensive ones anyways. Tread cautiously.

A lot of the savings usually come from how and when you buy rather than where. Ordering a full year at once often drops the per box price, especially if you can stack a rebate or seasonal sale. It is also worth checking if your health insurance has any vision reimbursement buried in the plan, even without full vision coverage. Some people have luck asking their eye doctor if they will price match or knock something off when you mention online pricing. Just make sure whatever route you take still requires uploading a valid prescription so you are not cutting corners on eye health.

Do you have a Costco membership? I just heard in another sub that their Kirkland contacts are Coppervision. I got my year supply of Acuvue at a bit of a better price than 1-800 contacts, so if you have access it might be worth it to check them out.

    4. ContactLensKing has the Avaira Vitality contacts for $13.95 per box (Regular price: $30.95 per box).

I’ve had a good experience buying my contacts through them.
