TL;DR: USBank disabled my online access so I'm unable to login and manage my account. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening?
Background: Back in 2023 I opened a checking account with USBank and it was closed after I made "suspicious" transfers INTO the account. I had a positive balance in that checking and only recovered part of it when the account was closed. I spent months of back and forth over the phone and presented myself and IDs physically at a branch where they faxed them to their back office. I was also asked to verify the transfers by mailing and emailing copies of the incoming and outgoing funds. After 2-3 months of this I said fluff it I'll cut my losses and gave up.
Fast forward to Dec 2025. I was looking for a no AF/FTF card that I can possibly use for infrequent travels (1-2 international flights) so I signed up for USBank Altitude Connect and was immediately approved for a 10k limit. Then I tried to create an online account. My mistake was I used the same email that I was previously using with the closed checking account and I believe the online account is now tied to the credit card. The problem is that every time I try to login it says there's a problem on their end and when I call the 800 number and they say I have to wait 48 hours. I have done this twice and the online login keeps getting locked. And now they said their fraud department is going to have to look into it.
Should I keep using the card? Is it likely for them to close the account? Did I just shoot myself in the foot by wasting a hard pull on USBank?
Looking for some advice and/or your experience dealing with US Bank TIA!
Is it possible to be permanently banned by USBank?

What a mess. They suck.
Is it possible to have them cease serving you/be banned? Yes.
If they already treated you poorly and showed they weren’t willing to engage in a client/service relationship, why would you continue to engage with them?
Citi did something similar to me a few years ago after over 20 years of activity, i had them provide me all my funds in cash as they unilaterally demonstrated an unwillingness to work together. I haven’t looked back.
You should also check unclaimed funds for the state you lived in. They might have send the money there.
