    Great coin in 2025 vs Great coins in 2026

    Hey everyone, with 2025 almost over, I was wondering how this year actually went for you in crypto. Not in theory, but in real life 😅
    Which coins did you hold or trade that genuinely did well and made you some profit?

    Nothing crazy, just projects that surprised you in a good way or simply delivered as expected.
    Looking ahead to next year, things feel pretty uncertain overall — wars, inflation, elections, markets going up and down for no clear reason. Because of that, I’m curious what coins you personally think might do better than others in 2026. Are you playing it safe with the big names, or still betting on smaller projects you believe in?

    I’m not looking for predictions or “this will 100x” stuff. Just honest experiences, what you learned this year, and how you’re thinking about the next one. Always interesting to hear different perspectives.

      Btc only. I dumped everything else back when trump rug pulled his coin. I switched to holding physical silver and have been very happy with my choice.

      Still just holding mostly SOL and ETH, seems clear that it’s been a two horse race for a while, especially with the previously hyped new L1s not really sustaining that hype.

      I still take small positions in stuff that seems interesting, like CARDS is at $10m market cap and is a legit company tokenizing TCG and getting a lot of usage. Took a flyer on AVICI too and still hold some BONK and PENGU but not too hot on those, luckily I bought BONK long ago on the cheap and got PENGU airdropped to me.

      I’m pretty much a BTC maxi right now with 10% in ETH, all others are to risky for my liking at the moment.

      2025 taught me that boring wins. BTC and ETH didn’t make me rich, but they kept me sane while most alts round-tripped. Lesson learned

      BESC and it’s brother MONEY.
      So in 2025 they delivered L1 chain,US CEX, DEX, perps Dex(moneyxpro), bridge, casino,bet bot in final testing and wallet with builtin trading bot about to drop. I feel this ecosystem will do good in 26

      Pretty good, was mostly in BTC, SOL, and HYPE but has been DCA-ing out of them across the year.

      Sold most of my BTC at $115k average, SOL at $230, and HYPE at $38.

      Here’s the harsh trust: if your coins severely underperformed the past 3 years. It will most likely continue doing so.

      I was chasing the latest mid-caps all year, but luckily I’ve always DCA’d into BTC to ease my suffering. I also started stable coin farming with great success.

      Optimism OP Stack is the backbone of Ethereum. It processes over 70% of all Layer 2 transactions on ETH. Linea token has been chosen by SWIFT for the world’s cross boarder payments. Linea will do what everyone thought XRP would do. Linea in 2026.

      Honestly, I learned more from how I handled myself than which coins actually moved. 😅 I used to chase whatever was hot each month and stress over timing, which mostly just burned me out.
      This year I tried sticking to a simple plan, using a small tool to automate my rebalancing and track cash moves, so I didn’t have to think about it every day. It didn’t make me rich, but it saved a ton of mental energy and kept me from making stupid impulsive trades.

      Next year, I’m focusing on discipline and consistency rather than guessing which coin will pop.

      Maybe 2026 will be privacy year with Monero and Zcash.
      I don’t if privacy will include litecoin as well but this is my bet 🤞

      I’m 50% btc, 15% eth, the rest are SUI, XRP, SOL, LINK, AVAX, QNT, ONDO & HBAR. These are my long term, once crypto changes over from isolated few to the normal many.

      Midnight is going to add a privacy layer to Solana and Ethereum, and Midnight is a partner chain of Cardano.

      BTC&ETH 70%
      AAVE, UNISWAP and CHAINLINK 30%
      The future is the blockchain. This 5 will outperform all the cryptos

      I have long held the belief that XMR is one of the few cryptos that will be relevant long-term. Went well so far.

      I’ve pivoted more to memes. Mostly I’m in 401jk and I’m 10x up. There are an awful lot of shit ones around, but if you start with the largest communities on capitoday you at least can be confident they don’t rug.

      I just lend on Blend (Stellar). Best returns in defi at 20% rates on USDC and collect the Blend token

      Mostly BTC, ETH and SOL. But I checked in with AI at the beginning of the year and it recommended 10 coins with “potential.” They are all down between 50-70%.
