Maybe I am not alone in this and this feels familiar to some of you LMAO.

I am thinking of closing all my positions on December 31 and hold cash before I reposition in 2026.

I know this is a crystal ball take. Welcome views from anyone but please do not downvote lol

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Market goes up when I sell and goes down when I buy

Invest in less volatile stocks. Don’t sell. It’s really easy but you get used to it. I like investing in quality companies overreacting to bad news but sometimes when you buy the overreaction, another overreaction happens the next day bringing you down 10% in one go. As long as you know that the current price of a company does not properly reflect the value it should be just have faith

Can you tell us the next time you plan to buy and sell 😂

Depends on your time horizon. If you have a strong thesis around the stock hold during drawdowns and double down.

Ok. I’m going to let you in on an option trader secrete. But you have to promise not to tell anyone ok? If you buy an option with a $30 strike price, and it has a 30% probability to be in your favor by experation. The probability that it becomes favorable, and then reverse is 60%, before the option expires. In otherwards the probability of touching the strike, is 2x the probability of expiring above the strike.

Which is a wordy way of saying most winning trades will be negative at one point.

This happens to all of us. But if you are consistently losing, then you need to zoom out to figure out why. Is your timeframe too short? Are you buying stocks that are extended from their major MA’s? Or buying stocks in a down trend?

If you lack a coherent strategy, then consider to stop trading until you figure it out.

      There is no easy answer.

    5. Market or your specific picks within the stock market that are likely not a representation of the full breadth of all possible investments available? So, you buy VTI or VT and it goes down…you sell VTI or VT and it goes up? …Or you buy “ABC-Speculative” and this happens?

    6. You’re in the Bogdanoffs’ radar. They’ll pump it when you sell and dump it when you buy!
