I’m an Ozzie here, mainly investing in Australian domiciled ETFs but looking at some American shares for long term growth. Curious to here everyone’s thoughts
I’m currently considering:
Rocket Lab
SOFI
AST SpaceMobile
In that order
Let me know your next investment – not looking for the mag 7 as my ETFs cover those bigger cap companies
Who are you investing for 5+ years in 2026

Oracle
My 5 year plays are:
RDDT
NBIS
DRSHF
DRSHF is actually an aussy company I think the ticker on Australian exchange is DRO. Allocated right around 5% of port for each stock.
The only individual stock I own is GMG and that is just get some exposure to realestate.
I think NKE has good upside potential
have you considered being realistic?
if you want to invest in america – just buy Sp500 (voo/spym/IVV) whatever is available to you
if you need some silly guarantee this the right move?
if you pick three random companies like RKLB ASTS and SOFI – and i can pick sp500? i think i will win.
(just my opinion – i might be wrong – i love SOFI)
I was going to say ASTS and maybe also RKLB but then wasn’t going to because this is r/investing and then I read the rest of your post.
ASTS and RKLB is my final answer, in that order.

Interesting picks all long duration bets. Rocket Lab has real revenue and execution which I like most, AST SpaceMobile is high risk high reward on deployment, and SoFi feels more cyclical but could compound if rates and credit behave. Mixed basket makes sense if ETFs already cover megacaps.
Tmc
Rklb
Glxy
My 5 years plays are on TSLA and NVIDIA
Rddt
Those are 3 American stocks I’m considering investing in. I’ve traded them short term but they have great long term prospects.
GLXY and NBiS have been talked about amongst the investing community too.
I am investing in GLD and SLV this 2026. Will adjust accordingly as both are at all time highs. Thanks for sharing
FIX
those are decent picks but youre missing exposure to digital assets. for 5 plus years id hold some btc as a hedge and maybe add sei with their enterprise partnerships and real adoption plans. diversification across tech sectors including blockchain makes sense for that timeframe
Who is the CEO of Asts spacemobile? Can you tell us without googlincg the answer? If no than how much research have you actually done?
ASTS has done me very well this year
I’m all in until $300/share
