i just lost my job. i could barely afford my sallie mae payments when i had the job. i called to ask for a pause, even for a month. they said no. i have no income and no savings and i feel like these are going to kill me. any payment i make means nothing once interest applies. i can’t keep doing this

This is going to blow up in their faces, I guarantee it. I m in a similar bad spot. I just simply can’t pay it, unless I were to live out on the streets. I refuse. I will leave the country before I am forced.
What state are you in? Look up statutes of limitations in your state as well as exemptions. Then plan accordingly
