No surprise, we all know that Trump considers the rich “good people” no matter how they accumulated their wealth, while the working classes are “losers and suckers.”
Worse, his so-called spiritual advisor [no, it’s not Satan as the evidence would indicate] Paula White, Senior Advisor to the White House Faith Office, spews an abomination of the prosperity gospel in which not only are the rich blessed by God, but that the poor are being punished by God for their sins. Which, of course, she can fix upon receiving a minimum $1,000 dollar donation to her ministry.

Top 10% starts with an income of $100K a year. Not that rich. Also, people in the top 10% skew to being smarter than most (unless they inherited it) and tend to look ahead. Please note that I am not saying you are not smart if you don’t make a lot of money. That’d be silly.
I expect people were buying stuff like no tomorrow in anticipation of the tariffs.
I purchased a TON of stuff the moment the tariffs were announced. I mean I purchased anything I thought I might need in the next 10 years (Automobiles, HVAC, Washer and Dryer, etc.). My friends also did as well.
I am done purchasing stuff and I’m waiting for the economy to go into a depression so I can snag up some property on the cheap. I think other people are as well.
**Buckle up kiddos!** It’s going to be a long fall off the cliff! And please remember a majority of us Americans voted for this and we so richly deserve what is coming.
