Hi! I plan on applying for a credit card soon (AMEX Gold or CSR) and was wondering, to hit the amount needed to get the welcome offer, can I just buy a bunch of gift cards? Or will the bank flag that? The welcome offer for both requires spending $6000.
Can you buy a bunch of gift cards with a CC?

If it codes as say grocery when you buy it at a grocery store. It 100% should work. It’s how I got mine.
