My dad is my AU for my chase ritz card, when he tried to go to the LGA Sapphire lounge today, they scanned his priority pass qr code and said he cannot bring in the two guests with him. I had always thought that Ritz AUs priority passes have the same guest policy as the main account holders, basically unlimited guests to the sapphire lounge, until next year when they change it to 2 guests. Is my understanding incorrect?
But as a workaround, I just added the two guests as AUs as well, and their priority pass QR codes showed up pretty much within minutes inside my chase app, even though their names were swapped on the actual QR code. To access, you basically go to Chase App > More (bottom right corner) > Airport Lounges (under “Travel, dining & experiences” section) > See digital membership card (bottom) > Authorized users.
Another small thing to note that you used to need to call or message chase to get your AUs signed up for priority pass, now it seems to happen automatically when you add AUs.

Supposed to start on Jan 15. But individual lounges have often had their own rules regardless
