I’m not being offered the 50% off promotion because I accidentally canceled my subscription. I reached out to Walmart Customer Support since the cancellation was unintentional, but unfortunately, they said there wasn’t anything they could do. Does anyone know a way to get Walmart+ for $49? I was really hoping the discount could still be applied so I don’t have to pay the full price.
Walmart+ is going to renew for $98. How can I bring that cost down?

They only way I know at this time is if you have SNAP benefits card on your account- that should knock it down the 50%. Good luck, friend 🧡
Walmart+ is half price for anyone on social safety net services like SSI or SNAP.
Also student discount, if you qualify
I can’t say this for sure but I would think that a short time after the cancelation will go into effect, you will receive offers.
I’m in the same boat. My subscription expires soon and I expect to get promotions once that lapses.
If you have American Express, I think they have a statement credit offer that brings it down to $50ish.
I signed up again about two months back. immediately I went to unsubscribe SoI didn’t have to worry about remembering at renewal in a year.
An offer popped up and was like “yo, if you don’t cancel. We will give you $50 in Walmart cash at renewal”. Effectivelymaking the second year half price, $50. you can try that…

An easy way to drop that way down is to leave it canceled. No need to buy a bunch of crap from Walmart and groceries are often cheaper and better quality at real grocery stores.
Do you have insurance through work? We are offered One Pass Select which gives free/discounted gym membership and free Walmart+. Take a closer look at your options when your open enrollment comes around.
One year I cancelled and got an email to sign up for $49 and this last year I went to cancel and it just asked if I wanted it for $49
If you can, let it expire and see.
They’ll probably offer a win back deal sometime after the subscription ends.

we just got this popup halfway through last month and jumped on it, maybe if you mention seeing it with a support agent they’ll offer it? (also note for any straight talk members: i called to cancel after upgrading my phone after 10yrs of service and they offered me a free iphone 12, which would’ve been great if i hadn’t already signed another contract. threaten to leave before you do lol)

Start the process of canceling, they usually offer half price before you complete the cancellation.

If you try to cancel and no 50% off offer comes up (I had this happen during the summer so it’s not just during the holidays) just create a new account, they honestly don’t care.
AARP members get a $40 discount on Walmart+. There is no age requirement to join AARP.
