Is anyone else starting to feel the "cracks" for 2026? 2025 has been a massive year for AI and the s&p 500, but honestly, this "santa rally" feels a bit too perfect. i’m looking at my portfolio and for the first time in years, i’m actually worried about the concentration risk in tech. we’ve got hyperscalers like MSFT and GOOG spending $500B on infrastructure, but the forward P/E ratios are getting goofy.
After Trump got office, uncertainities in the market increased as he would flip flop in short time.
Are you guys trimming your mag 7 winners to lock in 2025 gains, or are you riding this into 2026? i’m genuinely considering a 20% cash buffer just to see how the dust settles in january. tell me your exit plan or why i’m being a paranoid bear. because these "uncertainties" are starting to look like a very real wall now.
Covering uncertainities in the market…

Nah, bullish for 2026. The show goes on!
Imo wide markets will go sideways this year. Lots of transfers between tickers there will be winners and losers..
Imo betting on openai connected stocks is the way, all beaten down and all it takes is one breakthrough showing its a leader as it’s been at all times for the last 3 years.
Crwv, MSFT, avgo will be top performers. Oklo as well due to china having advantage in SMRs and us gov has to do something.
Just tell us what you do and we’ll do the opposite
Going 20% cash is dumb unless you’re old or need the liquidity for something practical. Stay invested and let your money grow

Why do you not already have sufficient defensive investments to where you don’t need to worry about your long-hold positions?
And it’d be one thing to hedge against certain specific outcomes, but… *20% in cash??*
Not to mention the idea of “dust settling” is questionable at best. What the current US administration chooses to do with tariffs and trade agreements changes on a whim, legality may or may not be upheld by the Supreme Court, there may be other mechanisms that take its place. Confidence in inflation may be shaky at best.
There will be no dust settling any time soon.
