i got this idea to hook up a chat interface w/ my calendar to track my events when I was removing my extra classes off my calendar as they were cancelled and lazy me got tired of doing it for 4 events.
so i vibe coded a calendar UI from scratch to my liking and then added AI chat functionality using an open-source & free AI API.
and it's exactly what i imagined, it can do basic CRUD as of now and I am trying to add event intent understanding functionality.
Built a tiny calendar chat tool & realized it's actually useful (and cheap)

I love that! One idea for you is to Pop on a sub interface and payments and sell it to others too. Also don’t forget about skool.com to start up a productivity community for your AI creations
nice example of scratching your own itch, that is usually where useful tools come from
next step is to see if anyone else actually has the same pain, share a short demo, see if people ask for access without you pitching
if intent parsing works reliably, that is the real value, CRUD alone is easy, natural language that does not mess up calendars is hard
Do you run the AI model for the chat locally?
If you price it as a one time charge, yes for sure it has potential. But, since you are productivity minded, starting and growing a community is highest potential. We are all juggling so much! 5-25 one time charge for sure is reasonable and you will have other ideas. Put your app in front of 25 people you sort of know but who will give you feedback.
When you don’t find your solution in the lsit of tools, just make it… and cheap ahah
With vibecoding it’s so fast & easy
