I opened this yogurt around December 17. I haven't eaten that much of it. I took it out of the fridge today, December 27 to serve my dad for breakfast with fruit. I then noticed the expiration date. I looked at the yogurt and did not see any mold. I then gave it a sniff and it smells just like plain yogurt. I then had a spoonful to taste and it still tasted good. What do you guys think? I hate to waste food! Thank you!

Dairy products will taste obviously off before they’re dangerous to consume. If it tastes fine, it’s fine.
If it looks good, smells good, and tastes good, I’d eat it.
That’s sell by, not expired by
Is it moldy?
Just look at it…. dairy does not hide when its bad
We found lemon juice my father in law had since 2003 two days ago.
Sniff test! If it smells off trust your nose even if someone says they’re used to using it….
Yes
Yogurt lasts for weeks past the expiration date if unopened. I’ve eaten yogurt 4 months past the date before
If the inside is separated to a weird degree and tastes funny, no.
Best Before =Quality
Use Before =Safety
Just as a counterpoint to all of these folks saying to eat it. A few years ago I ate some cottage cheese that had been in my fridge for a few weeks opened and was exactly at the date on the lid. It looked, smelled and tasted fine.
I threw up so hard and so long that I broke all the blood vessels in my eyes.
So it’s probably fine, but it also it could make you sick.
No, I have not eaten cottage cheese since.
