      We really should be discussing what comes next. The possibility that we’ve hit peak jobs is rising year over year. What comes next? What does the transition look like for people that no longer have a place in the economy. It’s scary and the fact that regulatory bodies are asleep at the wheel is disconcerting to say the least.

      A consumer economy can’t function when the consumers are unemployed.

      I’m not sure what the corporate end game is, but the people in charge will have cashed out or died before society collapses.

      The only hope for us is that the AI Bible bursts and humans are back in demand.

      Hot take : This is 100% fixable in a straightforward way.

      Transition to a solar, battery EV economy. It’ll create millions of jobs and lead to a cleaner, more efficient future. The only reason we haven’t done it is because we haven’t decided to.
