So we are cheering for our fellow Americans losing their livelihoods because they voted for the wrong team? Nah I’ll never support that. Newsflash reddit – half the country votes for the other team. We can’t just flat out hate all of em.
I mean sucks people are losing jobs but let’s be honest the Tyson’s chickens are genetic freaks that live atop piles of feces and can’t move bc they’re so fat from steroids. Death is a merciful end for them.
Maybe I missed it, but do they say if this the same Tyson foods that has been documented as standing on birds’ heads to suffocate them? The same place that rips the heads off live chickens? The one that starves chickens by inserting a metal rod through their nostrils? If so, maybe this is for the best.

They’re closing the plant because they are opening a new one in Amarillo, Texas. Tariffs and low cattle supply haven’t helped but this likely would have happened if Kamala was president also.
Good for them, now ideally they can all get jobs in the IT sector, only to have be replaced by AI. The average American cannot win these days. Not sure how the government expects the economy to continue, 3/4 of the nation can’t afford to live, but they still want them to consume. Talk about burning the candle at both ends.
Did any of you read this? This headline seems a bit misleading. Seems like they shut down due to the lack of beef production from droughts and high cost. Don’t know how Trump is related to this. What I will say is that we shouldn’t be cheering this on and that Tyson could definitely keep the plant open. They just decided not to while punishing the workers and use Trump as a reason why instead of corporate greed. I’d love for Trump to be the reason but from what the article says and the one it referenced from a month ago, doesn’t seem to be the case here.
as much as i like blaming the hillbillies for inflicting the fascist todler on us…the beef business, which is always very cyclical, has been having serious problems for like 10+ years…the real structural issue is the extreme consolidation of this (and actually many) industry. and that predates the current stupidity. Tyson controls some ridiculous percentage of packing.
Truly, I do not know how the leopards have any room left to eat more faces. There must be thousands of them, millions even. And they must be SO fat by now. Just an unending buffet of faces to eat.
Trump was just a useful tool used by the elite to get what they want done while leaving the ideas tied to the legacy of a guy they didn’t like anyways. Trump will leave office. Everyone will shout and rejoice. They’ll roll out social services again, re-codify gay marriage, and undo the anti-trans laws.
What won’t happen is all the budget cuts, many of the departments that were killed off won’t be revived, and billionaires will have their tax breaks.
People on reddit make no sense. You see that propoganda exists, but you’re too angry to realize we’re in this together. They will be able to vote again. The goal shouldn’t be for leopards to eat everyone’s face. We’re in this together.
