VZ has a high dividend yield that has increased for 21 years consecutively. It seems undervalued at moment.
Last year say an improvement in their free cash flows which say them end the year with around $20 billion. VZ does have a lot of debt.
Verizon went through a new leadership change at the end of last year and Verizon seems to be in a rebuild stage. They cut lots of jobs last year which could be a good sign for investors.
I know growth will be slow but will there be growth especially if VZ is undervalued? It definitely seems like a good stock to park money in.
VZ seem to be leaders in their industry but what is the comparison to AT&T with around a 4% dividend yield.
AT&T seem to be in a recovery stage which could see higher growth than VZ and they have merged with Spirit.
What is Everyone’s thoughts on VZ?

I agree VZ is a good value stock. I treat it like a somewhat riskier bet than bonds. I believe the stock will probably not beat the market but will be a safe investment with a consistent payout.
I’m from vz. Been here 20 years. The company used to be american run when I started, I work in a building formerly owned by GTE.
It’s currently about 90% staffed by indians in my american office. Employees are demoralized because we do rif and forced moves to contracting companies constantly. Anyone decent has jumped ship long ago.
They claimed we were laying off people due to ai use, but given that i know the team working on ai, I doubt it.
I think they are rolling over debt and the higher rates are costing too much, so they mask it with letting employees go. We just fired a ton of people. Hans is a tool who hasn’t done anything in his time here.
If you think the company who bought yahoo and aol is a good buy, good luck to you.
I used to frequent this website when they were doing vsp, but I haven’t in a while:

It’s great, I hold it, and plan to add more.
