Nicolas Maduro has been flown out of the country overnight. How will this affect oil and the market in general? This may be the big dip in the stock market many have been waiting for.

Hopefully, action like this won’t ruffle China’s feathers too much. But this can be a very interesting time for the market as we’ve not had anything like this happen before.

Maduro had been captured and flown out of Venezuela.

    1. I don’t think it causes a dip.

The war or whatever you could call this seems to be already over. Venezuela supplies 1% of current oil offer on the world market, i.e. peanuts.

America is untrustworthy and a fascist dictatorship. At all levels the rest of the world needs to contain them. Stop buying American.

IG weekend futures are down -.14 percent. for reference sake, IG weekend futures were down 4% when trump’s tariffs hit the market in april

Honestly, who didn’t see something like this coming? I’m just surprised this wasn’t a month-long blockade buildup of pressure with growing intensity and then thousands of air strikes and boots on the ground.

    5. Imo the biggest investing related threat from this will be Europe increasingly working to move away from America. That’s not an immediate threat but it is a rather significant one. This may or may not be the tipping point for them but it’s another straw on the camel’s back.

    6. What do you think, GOLD & SILVER will enjoy this ? people think OIL maybe will be volatile

    7. This may have implications for China of some sort, but in itself probably doesn’t cause any market reaction.

lol nothing will happen . 0 impact , it’s a heavily sanctioned country , if anything , oil will now start flowing and flooding international markets and they may ease sanctions when new regime establishes.

    9. I don’t expect that much, if anything will happen regarding the markets. Maybe if it had dragged on for awhile, but with Maduro already having been captured, it’s basically over.
