TIL: MasterCard Pre-Paid Debit Billing Address!

For all those sites that deny your purchase using a pre-paid MasterCard gift card because your address – or no address – doesn't match the card's address, there is a possible workaround.

MasterCard's world headquarters is at:

MasterCard

And their main switchboard phone number is:

914-249-2000

Inputting that into the billing address and phone number fields of the order page of whatever site ought to work. I did it on Amazon, and it worked flawlessly. I can't attest to it working anywhere else, but if it works on one site using MasterCard's payment processing network, it should work anywhere online!

You might need a country code if you're outside the USA, but the USA's is easy, it's literally just +1
