Which credit card has the highest % earnings when paying a cell phone bill that *also* has cell phone coverage for damaged/broken/stolen phones?
I currently use T-Mobile. I get an autopay discount (eg no cell phone) of $10/month, so my final bill is $100. However, if a card had, let’s say, 5% back for cell phone bills, then I could pay $110, get $5.50 in rewards, and get some coverage for two phones. Essentially paying $4.50/month for that coverage.
My alternative is something like Apple Care, which runs ~$10/month per phone.
The Apple Care coverage is, in many ways, superior, but I’m trying to figure out option.
Would love any and all thoughts and advice.

I haven’t seen a card with better rewards or cell phone protection, so it’s worth doing the math of that vs Apple Care.
Cards that offer strong rewards on recurring bills and phone protection can be a smart way to offset costs, focusing on ones with bonus categories for telecom and built in cell phones insurance could save you money while giving added peace of mind.
How many lines are we talking about here for $110?
