Facing foreclosure on property in probate

Hi friends,
i am dealing with a very complicated and frustrating issue.
My father died last year , had a mortgage on a nice condo in florida but obviously me and my family are not rich enough to afford this sort of mortgage . we have moved towards selling the home and despite finding a buyer we cannot move forward with the sale because the bank is transferring the loan to another bank.
They will not give us the pay off amount.
How the hell do I request these numbers? Neither my probate attorney now the foreclosure attorney have been able to get the information and the previous bank also does not have the numbers.
New bank has not received the account yet so they also are not any help .
I am worried that the house will be foreclosed on or we will lose this deal before we get any sort of solution.
Has anyone ever been in this situation and know of any remedies ??
Should I be worried about the incompetence of every institution involved?
