Mine went up to 2200 and i cancelled it. So i currently do not have health insurance.

    2. I’m curious about this as well. We were able to get some of ours subsidized in years past, but starting this year it is gonna be 1500 a month for a family of 4.

I know you can buy a small team group policy or buy through some sort of co-op but haven’t looked at those recently. When we started out the insurance agent said the best price at the time was an obamacare policy because we qualified for the subsidy.

    3. We’ve got 4 full time employees (including my wife and I) and 2 part time employees.

We don’t provide health insurance to our part time employees. Our 2 full time employees have awesome health insurance through their SOs.

I pay 450 for super low end coverage. My wife pays 650 for higher end coverage because we’re expecting/hoping for a pregnancy this year. Both of ours are through the marketplace, not the business.

I’m a contractor and have to buy my own at $650 as a single guy.

If anyone has any tips on getting a better deal, let me know.

I’ve heard a lot of married company owners get on their spouses’ insurance while the company is new.

Are you asking how much we pay for personal health insurance or how much we pay for employee health insurance benefits?

    6. I switched to concierge style/private health care. It’s so much better than having copays and dealing with insurance! Basically just pay a 149 per month membership fee and get unlimited telehealth, urgent care visits covered, most prescriptions and labs covered for the monthly fee. Wish I knew this alternative existed sooner, but glad I switched. Caveat: I don’t have any major pre-existing conditions.
