I recently discovered student salons and student dental clinics.
I live in an expensive city, just getting the nape of my neck trimmed to maintain my pixie cut cost 50 bucks at a cheap barber. The aveda student salon just did it for 8$.
They have really long facials for 40$ too, I’m in awe.
Before this I got X-rays done and a cleaning at a dental school for 30$ total.
I didnt realize these things existed, I didn’t grow up with a frugal family. Are there any other places with students to get cheap services?
Student salon + dental school was incredibly cheap. What other lesser known places offer cheap services !

My local community college has a culinary program that runs a high-end restaurant on campus. It’s the type of place where you’re expected to dress up, but the prices are affordable.
If you live close to a university or a hospital it’s pretty cheap to eat there. (Usually)
