    1. I don’t really understand the point. Denmark and the US had good relations. The US already has military bases and military assets in Greenland. If it was a national security concern, it’s really just a matter of asking to build whatever they want there, it’s unlikely to be opposed.

      If the issue is economic, it’s a matter for businesses and negotiations. This is often cheaper than military action, and it prevents stirring up bad blood with allies.

      There’s just really no good reason to use military intervention for this. What happened to “No new wars?” This wouldn’t even be a war again an enemy or a hostile regime, it would be against a longtime friend!
