curious how concentrated people actually are, and how much is normal. just checked mine, top 3 stocks are 65% of my portfolio. i know that’s probably wrong, but it’s mostly because one simple stock kept growing and i never trimmed. Should you actively cap concentration??
how much of your portfolio is in your top 3 holdings?

I have the “problem” where Rocketlab is now a larger portion of my portfolio than I would like , started at like 8% now its over 30%, but the stock has been a monster this whole time and I think against my better judgement I am falling in love with the stock, Something thats generally discouraged.
I told myself I will trim a bit atleast the next days.
100%.. $LRCX $MU $MNST
Well my portfolio is VTI, VEA, and SOFI so I guess 100%.
60%. Definitely not conventional wisdom.
18%
25%. I have 40 stocks ranging from 0.5% (new entries) to 10%. The forever holds like Google I’m happy to keep up to 10%, others up to 3%.
Pretty much 100% 🤣
My top 3 all time stocks are Google, Cat, and Ge Vernova. They constitute 3.11% of my portfolio.
