Ex wife took out two parent plus loans in my name without my knowledge or consent back in 2009. I found out about them after she passed away two years ago. The bills started coming to me then. Apparently she never paid much on them, interest piled up. She took them out for her daughter. She is not my daughter biologically. I submitted fraud claims and a police report but Aidvantage will not take no for an answer. They still want me to pay. I’ve grown tired of dealing with it. I need this over with. Any advice?

I assume you were married when the loans were taken out? Seems like a tough situation. I’m sorry.
You’re going to have to get a court to say there was I’d theft I’m afraid. And I don’t know how one does that when the person is deceased. Sue the estate maybe?
