Frustrated with current options

Missed getting my loans forgiven by less than 3 years. Currently on SAVE. The fish line has now been moved back another 5 years and my payments are going to be 5X what they currently are. If I ever reach forgiveness there will be a tax bomb on $75,000 which will be more in 8 years. Paid on these loans 17 years with no progress and just turned 50. This administration doesn’t care how bad inflation is and the cost of living they are going to push middle class into poverty and use our tax money and ss to make them multi millionaires. Give tax breaks to big business and hopefully some pennies trickle down to the rest.
