Good afternoon, I rear ended a car. I have progressive. Investigation found I was at fault. The claim is closed and shows $0 paid out to either party (very minor accident that he wouldn’t settle as I tried to not get insurance involved) what does the fact it’s closed and $0 has been paid out mean? It was over a month ago. I did not seek repairs or $ in any way.

Could be that the other driver never responded to your insurance so they closed the claim. Depending on your location there is a certain statute (amount of time) that they have to make a damage claim. Usually 2-3 years but some states are a lot more.
Yes, that is probably true. The other party might have gone through their insurance or not claimed it yet. Just because it is closed does not mean that it cannot be opened in the future if the other party or their insurance pursues it.
