So I’m very Curious and I’m a 19 year old planning to get into HVAC as a career but my real dream/end goal is getting into real estate investing and gaining a lot of profit and net worth. I know people will say why not just open a HVAC business/company. But I honestly don’t want that.
But I heard it’s very hard to get into real estate investing while working hvac since you’re working like 60 hours a week and when you’re off you’re tired asf from work and probably don’t have the energy to go look into rentals.
Is there a way to make it work or no?.
Is HVAC tech a good w2 job while real estate investing or no?

make and save money the. transition into re investing by house hacking.
I’ll say this. Real estate investing can sound or seem glamorous, but these days I bet a licensed electricia/plumber/caprenter/hvac tech make much more than most real estate investors.
There are way more real estate professionals than certified HVAC professionals. Seems like a win-win plan to me. I like the way you think.
I met an hvac guy, who started like you, built a company, and owned 20+ homes. I met him when I tried to buy a few of his off market, I asked him what he “did” and he said he was in hvac, got to know a lot of local people, bought houses off market, typically distressed and then renovated them since he met a ton of tradesmen. As that went on he eventually transitioned to working for himself and build his hvac business which further fueled his real estate investing.
I spoke to an HVAC guy at my house that invests in real estate. He owns apartments and also holds a bunch of crypto. He also mentioned he was starting a homestead on some land he had just bought.
My buddy got into HVAC years ago. He does a lot of commercial work for spacex. Seems happy
What type of investing are you wanting to do?
HVAC is physically hard work and working in extreme temperatures especially in the summer can be brutal. But it pays well if you are an owner operator
