I live in a student shared house in Brazil and wanted to share a real example of Bitcoin being used in everyday life.

My landlord officially accepts Bitcoin as a payment method for rent. This is not an informal agreement β€” Bitcoin is explicitly mentioned in the rental contract. I’m attaching a photo of the contract showing this clause.

It’s interesting to see Bitcoin adoption happening at a small but practical level, especially in student housing. No banks involved, no intermediaries, just a direct peer-to-peer option alongside traditional payments.

This post is simply to document and share a real-world use case.

Bitcoin is being used, not just discussed.
