Should I compensate for VGT’s missing tech stocks?

VGT is a stock I’m about to swap out for my QQQM that goes with my VOO and VXUS holding to add more weight to tech as it’s more attractive to me but it’s missing big players I’d like to invest in like Google, Meta and maybe Amazon. Would it be too risky of a play to invest in VGT and invest in these stocks individually as a sort of expansion to the etf?
