I am trying to plan out what to buy Tuesday/Wednesday during the (presumed!) dip, however, since I am new to trading I don't have a really concrete idea yet:
- I expect that the lowest value is after the EU responds, or indicate that they are going to respond. This will probably be Tuesday afternoon(?).
- I am not really sure what to buy. I kind of plan to just look at yahoo finance and see which "good" company had a really bad day
- I feel that a dip should be at least 5% to be really worth it since this situation will probably be harder to resolve than the last time Trump threw a fit.
What are you guys thinking about doing?
What is your strategy for Tuesday/Wednesday

Nothing. Hold.
Nothing different really. There were a couple of unrelated tweaks that I wanted to make but I’m not doing anything materially different as a result of this.
I already owned EU defense since early last year when it became apparent that they were going to have to invest considerably in that regard. I already started a position in gold etfs early last year and then gradually built out more gold exposure (miners, royalty, more etfs) and real assets broadly starting late last Summer.
Hold or buy something that get a discount lol
Do nothing
Hold – probably buy some quality stocks on dip and do a few ROTH conversions
Buy the dip and wait for TACO
Spoiler from Europe: it’s sales season again
