Selling watches in crypto is the best feeling ever! We got to do some of that this week as a sponsor of BTC Miami, The North American Bitcoin Conference (TNABC).
The prior cryptocurrency show we attended was a bit dead (Episode 33), but we’re glad we came this time because Bitcoin Miami set a new attendance record with over 5000 people!
Not only was the show action packed, we also had the chance to interact with another big YouTuber and friend in the grey market, @Roman Sharf of Luxury Bazaar. Even @Nico Leonard, the big YouTube and founder of Pride & Pinion (Ireland’s only dedicated luxury watch boutique) made a surprise appearance and got to spend some time chatting with Carlos and the rest of our team.
We do have to take our hats off to Mr. CRM on this episode, since the first day of the Miami Bitcoin show also happened to be his birthday. He decided to spend the day at the show than celebrating (even though ..so let’s wish our leading star a belated birthday in the comments below to cheer him up!!
More than to sell luxury watches, we wanted to attend TNABC to shake hands with the different projects in the crypto space and also to hear Mark Cuban’s speech on non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and cryptocurrencies in general (you’ll get a short clip of that during this episode as well). As you know, we’re big believers in the entire crypto movement and also the future of NFTs, which are reshaping not only the world of art, but most industries as this very moment. We left the conference with a lot of ideas on how to grow the NFT part of our business and some solid connections. Stay tuned for that!!
When the dust settled, at the show we sold two Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Openworks (a steel and gold version) to a watch dealer in Instanbul, as well as a few other watches. Yes, Miss CRM scored BIG on the sales leaderboard this month!
