Collision with family member – WI

Hi,

I hit my mom’s car while backing up. There is a dent in both cars (kinda bad but nothing to make it totaled (I think)) and we are on the same policy for insurance (progressive). I was wondering if this is handled differently claim and deductible wise since we are on the same policy? I tried searching online but I can’t find anything.

I haven’t filed a claim yet because I am getting quotes first. But would we file two claims? Like I’m confused on that front.
