Had an accident last night, still establishing fault. Have a feeling I might get at fault. Spoke to GEICO today and they told me I have accident forgiveness and won’t impact my next policy quote which is renewed in June.
For background I am customer of 10+ years, never had an accident or a moving violation, has anyone had this experience where their accident was truly forgiven and their premium was not impacted?
I am wondering if there is a catch…

Accident forgiveness is a thing. Typically, they have verbiage regarding it written into your policy. There is general documentation on their website that talks about this. I am not insured with Geico, so I can’t personally speak as to whether or not they honored or not.

And I know you didn’t ask for opinions on whether or not you were at fault in the accident. If you would like people in this sub to weigh in, you could give some details on what happened. If not, no worries.
I don’t think there is a catch, but in 3 to 5 years, you cannot have any at fault accident after this one.
