Do business owners know that mass unemployment due to AI disruption will cause no one able to afford to buy our products and services?

People think starting a business is a recession/AI disruption proof thing to do. Maybe on the very thin margins.

But if people don't have disposable income to buy stuff, this wipes out most discretionary spending businesses first then the essential businesses get significantly gutted.

every job that gets automated permanently today, is a fraction of a customer that is gone.

Please don't say UBI, it won't happen.

I wish it was 2015 again.
