Soooo, is this a stock market crash? Sheesh. Red bars on all my maps. When this over will Buffets liquidity war chest be hailed as the best move ever. ๐Ÿฟ

**Not yet. But think longer term and broader scope**:

Germany’s investment in the U.S. has dropped by roughly 50% in the last year

Canada is abandoning its multi-billion dollar U.S. fighter jet purchase because the U.S. threatened annexation

Volkswagen canceled its multi-billion dollar car plant in the U.S. due to tariffs

China is selling U.S. treasuries by the billions

The entire European Union is moving its trade to focus on China and India away from the U.S. to reduce tariff burdens and instability

…the U.S. market is on the road to tanking. It hasn’t crashed yet. It isn’t crashing now and maybe it won’t crash. But in my opinion it’s going to shrink *hard* which will hit almost every industry, maybe to the level of The Great Depression. And that process has begun. Just like you can catch the flu from someone but not feel sick for a few days, the U.S. economy has been infected with insane leadership and the economic pain is coming.

We’re in correction territory across most indices, which happens regularly and doesn’t automatically mean crash. Buffett’s cash position will look brilliant if this turns into a full bear market and he can deploy at significantly lower prices, but he’s been sitting on cash for years through multiple rallies, so timing matters.

Time for the US stock market reckoning. I will watch Enron Musk and the others stock pumping AI billionaires get wiped out while I eat popcorn. Bitcoin is the step number one. Contagion will then spread when Bitcoin holders that did invest on loaned money will face the hard reality that they need to pay back the bank.

    4. Havenโ€™t seen levels this low since mid-January. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ

3% down from the all time highs, itโ€™s a minor dent. I am bargain hunting.

The s&p is less than 3% off its all time high. And it’s above the level it was at 16 days ago. Not exactly what I’d call a crash (yet at least)

    6. 100 off ATH. Probably didn’t even trigger the buy the dip crowd. Make it 1000 off ATH then we talking

    7. This may be a year like 2022 in all markets, where money exits, valuations drop and the actual economy shows a mild recession.

No idea if itโ€™s a market crash as Iโ€™ve cornered the market on Beanie Baby NFTs!
