I went through a phase or really wanting this card. I had multiple credit cards in the past. Signed up for subs and all that. Last year I canceled 3 cards and just recently canceled 3 more credit cards. I was attempting to simplify everything despite taking a small credit hit. I was just done juggling rewards. My credit score is 790 after everything so it’s not exactly bad. I only have 3 credit cards for the time being and have been super happy with that. I do not think about rewards as much or getting the best value. The Wells Fargo Active cash is my daily driver. I just got the email that I am off the waitlist. Ughh now what? Does anyone have this card? Struggling with what to do now!

Just simplify to the Gold? It works perfectly as a daily driver card. Unlimited 3% cash back on everything, no foreign transaction fees to worry about, very clean and pleasant app, and the robust virtual card support is really useful. Keep the Active Cash as a fallback and for the rare Costco gold purchase or tax payment.
This happened to me. I ended using the CK hack and got the card but if I could go back in time I would not use a 5/24 on it cause now I’m at 6/24 until march and 5/24 until December

It’s an amazing card go for it. I just got it too went off the waiting list after two years.
Everyone getting the card makes me think a nerf is coming soon lol
