Don't have anyone else to share this with since I don't really know anyone else well enough explain this, but I finally, after being debt free (without missing any cc payments), made my first contributions to a HYSA and it was a $2500 transfer after my paycheck hit at midnight.
Just wanted to post to say that anyone can make it and to share my personal finance journey's first major accomplishment :))
