Hello all! I have been adjusting for 4 years, it’s been my only work experience out of college. For people who have been in a similar position, how have you transitioned out of this role into a different career? I am struggling to find ways where this could transition me into different financial roles, and I’m gonna be honest I never want to handle another insurance claim again. Thanks for the input!

    1. I’d start by looking at internal opportunities at the company you are at that are not in claims. Something like underwriting, analytics, HR (although this may be worse than claims), accounting, etc. Keep in mind that it may be a pay cut as you will be entry level, but you can easily get the skills to get out of insurance from there.
