Hello — I’m looking to add a catch-all card to my lineup.
Right now I have:
• Amex Gold
• Chase Sapphire Preferred
• Marriott Bonvoy Boundless
I’m looking for a no annual fee catch-all card, preferably Amex or Chase, but I’m open to other options too. Right now I’m leaning toward either:
• Amex Blue Business Plus (BBP)
• Chase Freedom Unlimited (CFU)
My main question is about the Amex Blue Business Plus.
I know it’s technically a business card. I’ve read that Amex isn’t super strict about personal spend, but I want to hear from people who actually have the card.
I do Uber on the side, so that’s what I’d put on the application, but realistically I’d probably use the card for groceries and everyday purchases.
For BBP holders:
• Do you mix personal + business spend?
• Have you ever had issues doing that?
• If you had to choose today, would you still pick BBP over CFU as a catch-all?
Appreciate any data points or experiences.
Best no-AF catch-all card? BBP vs Freedom Unlimited + BBP personal use question!

CFU because Chase points are easy to use
