In real estate, if you miss a call, you might lose a deal.
Some agents are using AI voice assistants to:
- Capture buyer/seller info
- Schedule property viewings
- Send follow-up details
Would you trust AI to handle your incoming property inquiries?

I’ve been in the business for about 8 years and honestly, I’m pretty torn on this. On one hand, I’ve definitely lost deals because I was showing a house and couldn’t pick up the phone – that stings every time. But there’s something about real estate that feels really personal, especially for first-time buyers who are already nervous about the whole process.
I tried one of those AI systems for about 3 months and while it did catch basic info, I found myself having to do damage control on about 30% of the calls where the bot misunderstood what the caller was actually looking for. Like it would book showings for condos when they clearly said they needed a house with a yard for their kids. The follow-up texts were solid though, I’ll give it that.
Right now I just have a really good voicemail message that gets people to text me instead, and I can usually respond to texts within 10-15 minutes even during showings. Seems to work better than the AI thing, at least for my market.
My clients hate the ai voices so I stopped doing it.
