I finally sat down today to audit my bank statements, and the results were honestly embarrassing. After adding up Max, Disney+, Netflix, Spotify, and Apple TV+, I realized I am burning over $100 every single month. I had signed up for these platforms so that I can watch some exclusive shows and I forgot to cancel, and suddenly I am paying more than a traditional cable bill for content I barely even watch.

Having this show exclusivity doesn't make sense financially, it becomes more expensive than the system it was supposed to replace? I plan to cancel everything today and only resubscribe to one service at a time, and only when there is something specific I'm actually sitting down to view.

I realized I'm burning $100/month on streaming apps I barely use.

Lmao this reminds me of those rocket money ads.

I pick one streaming service at a time, and half the time I just borrow movies from the library
