How to pass Funded account

I bought my first funded acc like 3weeks ago and still never passed it, problem is I gain and loss so I am always at the same range of money and when I analyze my trades i found out it’s my R:R i don’t have a fixed R:R so my question is I use protected highs/lows as my SL sometimes it’s big sometimes it’s small so how can I use a fixed R:R ? Sometimes I think it’s irrational to use fixed R:R
