Flights might be cancelled/delayed. I used the Chase United Explorer Card to book flights for my family of 4. I have never used any of the Travel Protection from any credit cards before. Based on this link, https://www.chase.com/personal/credit-cards/united/united-explorer-card/travel-protection , I should be able to claim up to $2000 ($500/PP) for hotels/food. Is it that simple as just saving the receipts? We will of course not book the Ritz. Just want to confirm if there is anything i need to do or advice for anyone that has claimed this before.
Thanks
Flying back to NYC tomorrow night but blizzard is coming!

Can’t answer specifically but presuming that’s a higher-tier card they probably have a specialized member services number you can call and ask for guidance on what exactly you’ll need to do to ensure full reimbursement.
