Hey all,
This summer I’m going to be doing an internship through my college where i work at an amusement park and basically live in an apartment. It’s a great experience for my resume but I’m worried about eating with the price of groceries these days. I’ll apply for ebt but assuming that DOESNT work
What are some non perishable foods that are good to stock up on? Ideas? I won’t likely be able to spend more than 200/mo on food…
Rationing food/tips… college student and broke!

perhaps stock up on protein powder two scoops a day would be like 50-70g of protein and then figure out a high calorie cheap food for calories like oats or junk and then fill rest with whatever most nutritious u can buy for cheap or discount
Can you take home food from the amusement park? Do they have a special deal where tou can eat for a fixed fee?
[There was this guy who worked or lived by a great adventure and just ate there every day a couple times a day](https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/tt5mez/iama_guy_thats_eaten_thousands_of_meals_over/)
Do you have access to food banks?
I would also ask your college about any food assistance programs they might have for students.
Look at the app Too Good To Go and see if there’s anything in your area
Besides the food bank and asking at your college, in the US you can get a brochure about all the help that’s available in your area from the Salvation Army or through your local human resources agency.
