I used to use turbo tax and H&R Block to file my taxes all the time. my taxes would cost anywhere from $40 to $200 to file because I would file w2s and 1099. Well I found out last year that Free Tax USA lets you file federal taxes for free! State taxes cost $15.99 right now, but that’s not bad! Better than paying $50+.
I filed today and my return was accepted within an hour!

It works well with non complex tax situations. Highly recommend. Also, if it’s your first time using it you can basically do it on turbo tax and free tax usa up until you have to pay and compare. I moved mostly because Intuit who owns turbo tax is a terrible company who heavily lobby’s the government to crush free tax software that the government should provide.
