Typically, I like to get some rather expensive extra strong and soft TP, and generally use 2 sheets per wipe. This is because using 1 sheet, usually it will rip and get nasty finger. I found myself spending a lot of money on TP.

Then I found a way to make my TP last 2x longer. Walmart sells this very generic and weak TP for just $1.00 for 4 rolls.

What I found I can do, is I take 2 sheets of cheap TP, and use it as a "base" behind 1 sheet of my expensive TP. This cheap TP prevents my expensive TP from ripping, and it makes my expensive TP last twice as long. Basically, I have a setup of 2 rolls of TP, alternating between 2 sheets of the cheap stuff beneath 1 sheet of the good stuff, and it's the perfect strength, no rips, no nasty finger, and now find myself saving quite a bit of money on TP.

I have a Toilet Paper hack to save money. It involves combining 2 sheets of the ultra cheap stuff beneath 1 sheet of the expensive soft stuff. And it makes my expensive stuff last twice as long, and the cheap stuff is 4 rolls for only a $1!

$35 handheld bum gun bidet has saved me countless rolls of TP over the 7 or so years I’ve had it. Bidet all the way.

    2. I rarely use TP since before the Bat sniffles, been using “Baby wipes’ and never had a septic issue yet. In fact at one of my last employers my pack sometimes seemed to become the communal use.

I’ve considered a bidet but it’s on a long list of other things that would actually save more money than a reduction in bathroom tissue purchasing.

I even take a pack in the car, in my luggage on vacation and a pack at work since ca 2018. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve been lucky to have it in my car at rest stops or other “roadside emergencies”.

My preference at least claims to be 100% flushable.
